Had a great day down at Heringer Estates Vineyard and the Sugar Mill in Clarksburg.  Weather was perfect, setting was gorgeous.  Did some fieldwork on an upcoming story I'm writing for Edible Sacramento's Fall 2011 Issue.  Got to meet Mike Heringer, the dynamic winemaker for this microwinery located down in the Delta.  Tasted about a dozen of their offerings in their tasting room located at the Sugar Mill, a cooperative tasting location for area vintners.

Can't wait to tell their story.  Stay-tuned….I'll let you know when the publication is out on the streets and online.  If you can't wait that long…..head on down to Clarksburg yourself…and taste some interesting and exciting local wines!
